Tisseyre et associés is an engineering office specialized in architectural, industrial and environmental acoustics, and in particular :

We are an active member of the A+A (architects and acousticians) association.
A+A organizes information and training sessions dedicated to the public in the frame of the soundproofing campaign around Liege (± 12 000 houses) and Charleroi (± 6 000 houses) airports.

We have chosen ORACLE® as partner to develop our MAP AERO CORPORATE®software.

We have chosen BUSINESS OBJECTS® as partner to develop our MAP AERO CORPORATE®software.
Via BUSINESS OBJECTS®, all the data can be used and transmitted in a secured way via an INTRANET or via INTERNET. Our software also offers extremely powerful functionalities in terms of storage, processing and broadcast of data.
Scientific partnerships
EUROPEAN STANDARDIZATION COMMITTEE – Comité européen de normalisation (CEN)
In the context of the European Union, the CEN is in charge of defining applicable standards within the EU for several domains, among with the acoustics.
Since 1990, Jean-Pierre Clairbois manages the working group on noise reducing devices, which has now become the European reference for road acoustic control at the European level.

This working group involves 15 European countries.
International Institute for Noise Control Engineering (I-INCE)
I-INCE is a worldwide consortium gathering 46 associations coming from 39 countries and dealing with acoustics. Jean-Pierre Clairbois represents Belgium in the name of ABAV (the Belgian acousticians association).
I-INCE has originated several scientific working groups such as those on ” the technical assessment of noise reducing devices efficiency”, or also ” noise as a Global Policy Issue “, in which Jean-Pierre Clairbois has contributed actively.
Walloon region and Walloon ministry of environment and transports (MET)
Authors of the airport noise exposure study for the Charleroi region, we are also member of the steering committee for the reduction of airports nuisance in this region.
Lastly, as organizer of the forthcoming EUROPEAN MEETING DAYS FOR AIRPORT NOISE MANAGERS (due in 2004 in Liege), the MET asked us to be their scientific consultant.

Association of Belgian acousticians – ABAV
ABAV is a scientific association which objective is to develop knowledge and promote experience sharing in the field of acoustics.
Composed of engineers, physicians, architects and other members from education, engineering offices or public authorities, it organizes national and international events as well as congresses on a regular basis.
Peter Houtave is member of the board of directors at the ABAV
TI-AKOT
TI-AKOT is an association created by the technical Institute of the Royal Association of Belgian Dutch speaking engineers.
It is a source of references in acoustics and vibrations matters for engineers and other experts. TI-AKOT organizes training sessions and other specialized cursus.
Peter Houtave is secretary in the board of directors of TI-AKOT.
French acousticians association (SFA)
We are members of the SFA.
The SFA organizes renowned scientific congresses such as the ” Congrès Francophone d’Acoustique”. It takes active part to the European acoustic magazine ACTA ACOUSTICA, and promotes the technological innovation among its members by several means (scientific contest, scholarship, web site, etc.).
